今天跟kimberly去了一個外國人的教會...教會很大...講道的人好風趣 XD...
今天分享了 如何尋找你的伴侶..
用了創世記 24 的故事來解釋步驟...(因為每個point他都會解釋...現在我就只把point 打出來拉)
1) There is a time when it is right to marry
Abraham覺得是時候 兒子要結婚了

2) He/She needs to be from Gods own people
派他的僕人去他自己的家族那邊找適合的女子..因為他的家族是神說祝福的

3) God is going to guide to the person He has chosen
Abraham告訴僕人 會有天使帶領

4) There comes a time to start looking
所以僕人啟程去尋找

5)He prayed about the whole process
禱告 如果女子給他水喝 也給驢子喝 他就知道是這個女子了

6) He looked for qualities of character
女子給了水給驢子喝 代表她的心地善良

7) He got to know her as a person
僕人觀察女子

8) He found out about her family and history
了解她的家庭背景

9) They both saw the guidance of God
僕人跟女子的父母解釋一切
女子的父母也明白是神的計畫

10) They committed themselves to each other
最後 女子自己答應了

不知道這樣講有沒有清楚...
即使他們是meant for each other....可惜他們的婚姻沒有很順利...因為他們後來生了兩個兒子...各自喜歡一個 Rebecca更叫小兒子怎麼騙爸爸 騙長子名份...
所以尋找伴侶只是 5% of the whole process...還有95%是如何維持婚姻: Mutual respect; Mutual Trust; Mutual Love because marriage needs work, development and continuous growth.
